The factory reverse lockout link often wears out with high mileage or aggressive shifting, which can cause a shifter rattle. The PERRIN Reverse Lockout Lever uses two silicone O-rings to create a tight, rattle-free fit and provide a smooth, frictionless operation, even on worn shifters.

Easy Installation

Installation takes about 1 hour for most DIY enthusiasts, while a professional shop can typically complete it in around 30 minutes. On vehicles where the reverse lockout is harder to replace, this provides a quick and cost-effective solution.

Construction

The PERRIN Reverse Lockout Lever is precision-machined from billet 6061 aluminum and finished in anodized black to match the shifter collar on PERRIN Shift Knobs. It includes two silicone O-rings and special grease to ensure smooth, reliable performance.

NOTE:

* PSP-INR-250BK is compatible with 2006-2009 Legacy Spec B.
* This part fits most OEM shifters, whether new or worn, but does not fit the OEM Short Throw Shifter. Aftermarket fitment may vary due to tolerances. Before installing, measure the shifter's outer diameter where the lockout slides. It must be between 0.500" and 0.514" for proper function.
