Horsepower & Torque

The number one reason to buy an intake is to add more power to your car. The PERRIN Cold Air Intake adds 10-18 wheel horsepower and 10-20 ft lbs of torque to your car without adding any check engine lights or other issues.

No Tuning Required

This part is designed and tested to work safely on your vehicle without any ECU recalibrating required. Also, this intake has been thoroughly tested to be safe on all Cobb AccessPORT Off-The-Shelf (OTS) calibrations/tunes. If you are/will-be-using a custom ECU calibration provided by a custom tuner, seek their advice if this intake is safe to use with their calibration. Contact [email protected] for more info.

Precision Construction & MAF Alignment

PERRIN Intake systems use proper MAF alignment and plumbing size, both of which are crucial to maintaining proper air-fuel ratios and preventing check engine lights that plague competitors. Eliminating intake restrictions and increasing flow potential allows for faster turbo spooling, reduces turbo lag, and broadens the power band.

Heat Shield

The PERRIN Cold Air Intake for 2015-2020 WRX comes with a heat shield to redirect hot engine air away from the intake to allow for near ambient air intake temperatures.

Filter Tech

PERRIN Intake filter elements use open-cell foam to capture dust and dirt. Washable and reusable, PERRIN foam filter elements can last the life of your vehicle. Foam filter elements offer superior performance with minimal airflow restriction and amazing dust-holding capacity.

Clean and Protect

Keeping your air filter clean is essential for optimal performance and longevity of your vehicle's engine. By following these steps, you’ll ensure that your PERRIN Air Filter continues to deliver peak efficiency.

MAF Extension

The OEM MAF sensor wiring harness is too short to work with the PERRIN Cold Air Intake. Provided with each kit is a MAF sensor extension. This extension comes with OEM plug ends to relocate the MAF sensor with no compatibility issues.

Finish

Powder coated for protection from the elements, the glossy neon yellow or hyper pink will accent your show car, while the classic textured red and black finish will look awesome for years to come!

Sound

Under everyday driving conditions, the PERRIN Cold Air Intake sounds nearly stock. However, when the engine is put to the test, the intake comes to life, unlocking the sound of your turbo flat-4 and blow-off valve.

NOTE:

This intake system requires no tuning to operate properly and safely! However, if you choose to add an upgraded downpipe or tune, you must choose a tune that is specific to either the PERRIN or AEM Intake System. MAF curves for any other intake (including the OEM Air Box) will not work properly and you will damage your engine! Always contact a qualified tuner prior to adding any ECU mapping to your vehicle!
